A great article, I have read a few things about this topic and I really like the distinction between a freedom fighter being a marginalised/oppressed where a terrorist is an opportunist using the freedom fighter's motives for destructive means. The lines easily blur and that is why it's difficult for media to differentiate between them in short sound bites.
