THE MATATU CULTURE AT THE HEART OF NAIROBI CITY(KENYA)

Today i get to share with you all about the amazing "matatu" culture. The word "matatu" is a slang language/street language word commonly used here in Nairobi Kenya to refer to a Bus.

What makes them unique and very exciting to ride in them?? Here are some of the things:

    1.The Amazing Graffiti on their bodies

The body art work is done by professionals who strive hard everyday to come up with unique designs for the matatus

    2. The interior Design

You cannot love the matatu more until you ride in them. The interior experience of comfortable seats and loud music is the best. It feels like you are in a moving Night Club haha.

   3.The  Loud Music

Just watch the video and judge it yourself. Its crazy,fun and enjoyable when you board a matatu.

A MATATU COMPETITION EVENT IS HELD EVERY YEAR, AND THE BEST MATATU OF THE YEAR IS GIVEN AN AWARD.
