The population of steemit users just keeps increasing everyday. One general desire for most people is to see their singular upvote worth more than $0.01
The value of your upvote will determine how much you'll make from other people and how much followers you'll get, because if you upvote on a newbies post and probably he gets around $1 or $0.5 from your post, trust me he's going to tell his friends, add you to his steemvoter,upvote resteem all your post and memorize your name. Lol. Because that singular could just change his Steemit experience .

The worth of your upvote is determined by your steem Power. to know how much steem Power you have, go to your Steemit wallet:
Now let's see how how many steem Power can make your upvote worth $1 . To check this,
go to https://www.steemnow.com/upvotecalc.html by @penguinpablo
Type 6500 or 7000 under steem Power and click calculate.
From that calculation, about 6500 steem Power should give $1 worth of upvote.
Note: the $1 is gotten based on the assumption that voting power and vote weight are 100%. You can adjust that to see how much you'll get
How to buy steem Power
go to your wallet and click BUY STEEM AND STEEM POWER, you'll automatically be redirected to https://blocktrades.us
Under "send" Select the cryptocurrency you want to buy with. Example bitcoin
Select STEEM POWER under "Receive (estimated amount)"
- Click "get deposit address" and send the cryptocurrency you selected under "send". If you selected to send bitcoin, please do not send any other cryptocurrency other than bitcoin to the generated address.
Note: the system will automatically fill up your username in the "Your receive address" section.

@ samstickkz I have been trying to increase the power (amount/worth) of my steem vote from day one on the platform. So far i have been converting all my earnings to steem in hopes that would work. Now Im more then happy to read your guide the breaks it down to perfectly. Thank you.

So right now in short every 100 steem power you have makes your upvote worth $.01 more. So 200 steem power = a .02 cent upvote and so on. AWESOME. Then you factor in voting power and weight and this can adjust this figure. Oh boy, now Im confused again.
