Steemit and Meditation are my New Years resolutions.

It’s a little late but happy new year all!

I’ve been missing from steemit for a while now but that needs to change.

I’ve been lurking around and sometimes commenting on others posts. But not creating my own. I’ve kept up to date with many of the changes on steemit and it continues to show me how creative and purposeful the community is. The slew of projects people are creating on this platform is mind boggling. It contunies to be the most accessible crypto platform. Excuses aside I do want to contribute more to the community.

I’m not big on social media or blogging. So finding a voice or topics to post about have hindered my frequency of updates to a trickle. My solution to that is to post about pretty much everything I’m interested in. At first it won’t be very focused but I think over time I’ll find a tribe and more direction. Topics will include film, music, technology, and cryptocurrencies. Yeah you know one of those guys. The last eight months have been a deep dive into the crypto world. It’s been on my mind frequently and has become a large part of my life. I’m in it for the long haul.

On my first steemit post I mentioned I wanted to post at least once a week. I’m going to hold myself to that. 3rd party apps like @zappl and @steepshot will help me keep up with it.

And that’s my first resolution.

My second resolution is to meditate more. It really helps me cultivate focus and overall helps me feel better.

I’ve been meditating on and off again for over 10 years but got much more serious about my practice in 2016. I had a daily practice which went up to 30 minutes a day. Unfortunately, in 2017 I let it slide and I only did it only a handful of times. There really is no good reason for this besides bad discipline. I’m starting at 20 minutes and will work up to 30.
