what if those whales are not real people. but bots from steemit creators :D just a thought.
and by showing you guys that whales are keeping their funds and not powering down means its stable
and people trusting this platform.
What if ?
- Those whales are not real people's investment
- What if when you are putting money in here, and giving value to platform those few whales who are powering down
are actually cashing out your money - You are thinking its fine, only few whales are powering down. so it does not matter
- But in reality It does matter, money coming in < money going out is a problem.
that' means you are losing and whales are winning.
anyways it was just a critic thought experiment. it does not need to be true
feel free to share your thoughts on this
last two points.
1. When investors are not coming in, steem's value goes up and up and up...
2. When investors start coming in.. and put their stake in here. It starts going down and down and down.
3. When you say, I made enough loss, I need to get out.. and you get the fuck out. It starts going up again :p
I learned this is a new way of stealing people's money :D I start to think it happens everywhere in all markets.

Collusion, greed, manipulation = a common variable in every market on Earth and probably a dozen other planets.. There's numbers and patterns in every single market scenario. We try to interpret this data and for those of us that know a particular or rather peculiar pattern - we identify them much faster than unknown patterns.
With any investment, be it time or money, emotion mustn't lead the process. Sure, does it look like something that is not ordinary? Yeah! But I think STEEM is altogether out of the ordinary. Do I feel like there is strange activity? Yes. Do I think the entire sum of this game is a total bust? No, otherwise I wouldn't still be here and you wouldn't either.
We feel that we are part of something special, right? I think we are and I hope so, too. But... I've also put more pocket change into this platform than I've made writing & curating. Which, to be honest, is a bit discouraging in itself. I still want to believe I'm making the right choice.
I've never removed a penny from Steemit and that might be the smartest OR dumbest shit I've ever done...stay tuned, we'll find out 😆

Otherwise, with the greed and lethargy - isn't that every other social media platform? I want this to be different on so many levels.
I do see what you're saying and anyone who has played a penny stock in the OTC knows buy the rumor, sell the news.. We are not fools, this is far too early to determine, but our instincts lead us to this platform. There's something different about this and we have to be cautious when trying to apply the 'traditional' market criteria upon Steem.
I've put my crypto trading gains in here and also compensation for graphic design work, and even written a few articles that did fairly well.
I do not at all claim to be fairly compensated for my time spent here because it doesn't equate at all. I hoping it will. I think cautious optimism is the true way to ride this ride. We have no real idea where it will go, but we know that we are early and we know that there's high risk/reward involved, just like any other spec play in any market.
Glad I follow you and caught this bold post - let's be honest here; whales can crush us for speaking words that they do not like - very similar to every government on Earth..[wink, wink] Somebody had to say it and I respect that you said what's on your mind. It might just be what many are thinking and afraid to say. I'll stand by people like you all day. Honesty is the way. Stay safe, Steem On, and keep plowing along - we'll get somewhere 😆👍
