When your cryptocurrency tanks but everything is still right with the world

Got a morning text from my partner that said check your crypto—it's tanking! I checked and surely my meager investment had dropped in value, though not as much as I expected it to. My heart sank a bit because things were really on the up-and-up for a while and I could see my dream of becoming debt-free get closer.
Then I remember the sage investing advice I've read: diversify, prepare for the worst, don't ever LOSE money.
And then I went for a hike, here on the top of a mountain, and I remember that the world is much more than cryptocurrency and blockchain and AI and social media. In fact, the real world doesn't give a f*** about all that stuff.

Life goes on.
