Steemnotify.me - Steem notifications in your browser - UPDATE

For those who missed previous announcements, you can now get steem notifications for all your posting activity, including:

• Mentions
• Replies
• Upvotes
• Resteems
• Follows

Other features include:

• No need to enter any keys. Just enter the account name for which you want to get notifications
• Ability to silence upvote notifications, as you know you will be drowning in them.. :)
• Ability to silence all notifications

Available as either a chrome or firefox browser plugin.

Updates

• Old notifications don't disappear from the notifications list, until you explicitly clear them using the 'clear' button.

• A feature request was made to enable the ability to get notifications for more than one account. It wasn't going to be a trivial task to enable that within the extension, so instead I've created steemnotify.me+1 - a second browser plugin that is essentially a clone of the original, so that you can follow a second account. And if you use both firefox and chrome, you can get the extra extension for both and effectively follow the notifications of four accounts. Steemnotify.me+1 is available for chrome and firefox.

• Steemnotify.me website is back online, for those who can't use either of the browser extensions. The website can also be used to follow even more accounts if four isn't enough with all the browser plugins.

Future Upgrades

• Information in the notifications list about the users upvoting etc your material - reputation, followers, steem power, etc.

In other news, now that the browser extensions are mature and working well, I will soon swap back to my other project - Steemfeed - which is a feed that you can filter by up to five tags, including your own custom tags, and also sort by comments|votes|resteems|time. I'll be making a post about that in a day or two, particularly asking for feature requests (some ideas so far are - bookmarking posts for later reading, and adding new posts from your follow list with the ability to exclude resteems). So follow me if you want to contribute to that.
