Stimulating the mind
Stimulating The Mind
Have you ever noticed how some of the greatest and richest men in history have obsessions with women, oftentimes to the point of infidelity? Arnold Schwarzenegger fathered a child to his cleaning lady which lead to his divorce and we all know about the Tiger Woods scandal. I’m using more recent examples but the stories of the ‘famous and unfaithful’ echo throughout the pages of history.
Have you heard of brilliant and distinguished people who turn to alcohol or drugs, seemingly ruining their outstanding careers and disappointing everyone close to them, including their fans and followers? Yes. The famous Australian AFL star Benjamin Luke “Ben” cousins blew his shining career out of the water with his drug addiction and most know that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie broke up due to Brad’s alcohol abuse.
Recently, it seems like each month we hear of a famous actor, singer or comedian committing suicide or dying from overdoses of prescription medication. The news is filled with celebrities admitting themselves into rehab or their sex scandals uncovered.
Of course, anyone could pipe in stating that there’s a lot of people out there who are not famous or even scintillating that have the above issues. I agree. So why do people cheat? Why do people revert to alcohol and/or drugs repeatedly? Substance abusers may tell you that they do it to “drown their sorrows” or to escape reality when in truth, they have no idea.
The 10 Mind Stimuli
- The desire for sex expression
- Love
- A burning desire for fame, power, financial gain, money
- Music
- Friendship between either those of the same sex or those of the opposite sex
- A master mind alliance based upon the harmony of two to more people who ally themselves for spiritual or temporal advancement
- Mutual suffering, such as that experienced by people who are persecuted
- Autosuggestion
- Fear
- Narcotics and alcohol
Getting back to the original questions of why highly successful people throw away everything they’ve achieved for another sexual affiliate or condemn themselves to drugs and alcohol could potentially be summed up with the following statement. Remarkable people achieve fame and wealth through intense stimulation of the mind, they don’t have to understand each type of stimulation. Without grasping all the variables that stimulate your mind, you can become stuck on the one or few that you’ve realised yourself.
For an example, let’s say Mark, the CEO of his company and happily married becomes so engrossed in his sexy receptionist Laura that he works day and night on his projects just to impress her without even acknowledging his own thoughts of infidelity (transmuting sex energy into stimuli for the mind). He finishes all his tasks and confidently asks Laura out seeking approval of his success. Laura graciously accepts as being close with the CEO, she thinks this would guarantee her future promotions. Of course, not all women would collude to this form of stimulus but let’s use this scenario in the example.
These actions are perfectly normal as Mark notices and is motivated by his sex drive while Laura is motivated by her desire for financial gain. Are these actions morally appropriate? No, but perhaps this exposes the question, does stimulus for the mind surpass the morally acceptable? For many recognized and influential people, the answer to this question is their downfall. Perhaps if they fully understood how the process of mind stimulation worked, they could gain success in abundance rather than losing half their wealth to divorce, admitting into rehab or worse.
Many people who have transmuted their sex nature into stimulus for their mind have become successful. Hugh Jackman met his future wife while on set for his first professional role in Correlli and his career has boomed, Abraham Lincoln became successful after meeting Anne Rutledge.
I bet you’ve noticed how boys like to show off in front of girls, this is typical sex transmutation, the channelling of sex energy from the physical (sex) to any other kind of energy. In this example a boy shows off so that the girl pays attention to him. If the girl wasn’t there then the boy would not have had the urge to show off. This is the most basic example of explaining the number one mind stimuli which is the desire for sex expression.
Alcohol and drugs stimulate the human mind in a different way. Many psychologists, doctors, teachers and parents will tell you that alcohol is a depressant, but have you ever wondered why they say it’s a depressant? Don’t you take alcohol to a party to liven it up? What’s depressing about that? Well the answer is in the question, you drink alcohol to liven up the party, the consumption of alcohol stimulates people. It’s when they drink more than their body can handle or stop drinking which instigates the ‘depressant’ process, everything feels a bit ‘shittier’ and therefore most of the mayhem, fights and bigotry occur towards the end of the party.
Drugs on the other hand come in a variety of categories; stimulants, depressants and hallucinogens. Take a moment to guess where each drug fits, it’s quite obvious. Ecstasy, cocaine, ice and speed are all stimulants. Weed, heroine, codeine and morphine are categorised as depressants. LSD, shrooms and ketamine are? Yes, you’ll be trippin. But like alcohol, the drugs that stimulate you initially, will eventually pose as a downer and turn a wild rave party into a sloppy dnm (deep and meaningful conversation) with an ex.
This post will hopefully open some eyes as to why we do certain things and act certain ways. Of course no one in the world is alike and some people abuse the mind stimuli, perhaps this is because they don't understand it. I hope that anyone who has read this far will have taken out some key points.
