Why I'm Supporting Steemit/DTube

So this is a little epilogue from my first post about YouTube's downfall & I will leave the link here:

Why Support?

When I look at Steemit/DTube, I see a platform for a community of what YouTube used to be; a place where you can post your own content & gain viewers & followers with the same interest. YouTube is in this dilemma where the only way you'd be able to get big is if you were already big or follow that same formula ever other YouTuber did. I tried following these formulas years back & I wasn't enjoying it. I felt like it wasn't me & I was fake.

When I go on Steemit/DTube, it reminds me of the "Broadcast Yourself Era," of YouTube. I've posted multiple of a variety of things & gained likes & followers. Sure, it's not a large number at this point. But it's still good to know there are people who enjoy the content I make. I want to see this community grow into something big; something like YouTube should've been & not have to worry about the bullshit of YouTube's horrible practices. This site has potential & I want to see how far it goes.
