I'm not sure if your group is still accepting submissions but here goes.

I have been on steemit for just over 3 months now and post only original creative writing in the form of blog posts about nature/spirituality, poems and my specialty which is a series about my scuba diving adventures called scuba scribe. I am an active blogger and blog at least every 2 days but I am looking to make this a daily in the future. I strive to make all of my posts as professional as possible and have learned the basics of markdown as you can see from the list below lol. I am a creative writing graduate from university/college in my home town and have previously been involved in editing magazines etc and this is the level of craft I try to bring to my posts here on Steemit.

I am quite a small fish in SP terms but I believe I could bring value to your group in terms of the unique aspect of my blog (I have recieved 2 Curie votes on two separate blog posts which I will link below). I am always looking into new directions for my blog and am currently researching a comedic post which I want to get just right. In my 3 months here I have been very active in the community in the following ways:

• I have joined various discord groups to network and more importantly workshop/edit my creative pieces to ensure the highest quality possible.
• I have been active in commenting on posts that I have upvoted and in fact have found this to be the true value of steemit, how I have made real friends. Genuine interaction is the key on here for me, it's what makes it most worthwhile in these early days when my posts are generally making such low payouts.
• Most recently I approached @firepower on steemit.chat and am now the proud owner of the new #scubadiving channel, which I will be promoting for the benefit of the growing community of scuba diving enthusiasts on steemit. This channel is relatively young still (exactly a week old today) but I am hoping it will become a hub for all posts to do with marine conservation and diving related sports.
  

I hope this post has not been too much of a hefty read to plow through but I really wanted to make my case and hopefully become involved with your group of quality content creators.

In regards to verification, I have made an intro post which can be found here and the website listed at the top of my steemit page links back to my WordPress site, where I have also put a link to my steemit home page. If I were accepted into the group I would support all members with my vote and further to this, would set the majority of my posts to %100 SP payout to increase my vote weight and bring more value back to the group members.
