Google Pixel 2 & Pixel 2 XL

Last year, Google Pixel and Pixel XL offered us great performance with amazing camera, great performance, refined software etc. The pixels last year was really good but there was room for much improvement.

Now Google is back with the new Pixel 2 & Pixel 2 XL, which was perhaps one of the most anticipated phones of the year.
Let us first take a look at its specifications.

First, The Difference Between The Two

Both Google Pixel 2 & Pixel 2 XL has basically the same internal specs wit the most notable difference other than the screen size is the extended battery of Pixel 2 XL to support it's larger screen.
The smaller Pixel 2 is lightweight with squared off edges, larger top and bottom bezels. But the Pixel 2 XL takes a far more modern route with curved glass and much more higher resolution display.
Of course, there is a huge difference in their prices too, which will be mentioned at the bottom of the review.

Amazing Cameras

This years Pixel devices by Google is in a league of it's own in case of its amazing camera quality.
According to DxOMark, the Google Pixel 2 beats both the iPhone 8 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with its camera. The camera of both the Google Pixel 2 & Pixel 2 XL are really good.

Water Resistant

One of the major flaws of last years pixel devices was its lack of waterproofing. But this year both the devices come with water- and dust-resistance ratings of IP67. It means the Pixels can survive in up to 1 meter of fresh water for up to 30 minutes at a time.

Anyway, you might hit it by accident quite a bit of time. But the sensitivity of the sensor has a wide range of adjustment.

Price

The Pixel 2 costs $649 for the 64 GB model and $749 for the 128 GB version.
The Pixel 2 XL 64 GB costs $849 and $949 for the 128 GB version.

Personally I think that these Pixel devices are the best on the market at present. The Google Pixel 2 or the Google Pixel XL IS the android device to own right now assuming that you are a great big BALLER XD.
