Welcome to Steemit.

You need to look at a lot of what others are posting in the various categories. Comment on some posts. This is how I started last year. As I got more comfortable I then did an introduction post so people could get to know me. You should look at some introduction posts...Some will be detailed and others will be a little shorter. It is always nice to know where people are from and a little about their lives.

In time you will increase your followers and then do other posts of quality content and things will begin to grow. Always upvote anyone one who comments on your comment or post. You also should comment on what they said. IN the least thank them.

many people come to steemit and think they will make a lot of money quickly and that is not the case. I was not much different. I almost gave up...because my posts were not generating much. I finally realized I needed to enjoy this and not worry about the money. In time the money may come...maybe not as large as you would hope at first but give it time.

It is important to upvote any steem you get and I would convert any Steem dollars to steem and power it up. The more steem power the more impact your voting has.

You should do a little more detailed introduction post. When you do let me know and I will resteem for you. That might bring you more followers and more upvotes.
