Have you heard of STEEMPEAK?
I was just scrolling through the #trending tab and i rolled across a post from @themarkymark
He was talking about a new website called STEEMPEAK!
From since i joined @steemit i have been using the steemit.com website to post my content, and only recently did i start using busy.org to start posting. Busy was a huge difference between Steemit. The use of notifications so i could actually communicate and know when people commented on my posts. But about 2 hours ago, i stumbled across this post and decided to check out Steempeak and it honestly blew my mind.
Right off the bat it just draws you in with being able to see the rectangular posts, and you don't have to scroll anywhere to see the first 4 posts! How appealing is that?
I was shocked. It actually looks amazing. At this point i have absolutely fell in love with the rectangular view. The most frustrating thing about scrolling through tons of posts to ones that really grab your eye only to comment on them and get sent straight back to the top of the stack gets pretty annoying. now i can scroll 4x as fast and still see everything perfectly!
But it doesn't stop there....
The coolest thing i have seen yet...
As you can see, between march and may (shortly after i deployed) i went somewhat inactive, not posting and commenting a lot. And you can see again in June and July i was absent because my curation rewards was at bare minimum! Im not sure how many people i know that wouldn't want to see their own stats on how they are doing!
Creating your own posts is a huge upgrade also.
You get to type, and displayed right next to you is how it will look! That is so nice so you don't have to scroll down constantly to see how its going and how its looking.
The only thing i would ask @steempeak to fix would be when you log on and want to view a certain topic of posts you have to switch the view format from the Square posts back to the normal Collated posts. It would be nice to be able to select any topic right from the square view. Other than that its amazing!

An easier, faster way to Steem Away!
You forgot to mention how you can create as many drafts as you want and that you cab save any format used as a template. Love those features!
oh yeh! what a badass feature. Saving whatever outline you want and a master template for everything! so useful...

This is why Steem is so much bigger than Steemit!!!
Also, this is why I don't badger Steemit Inc or Ned about the Steemit UX... everyone else is able to make better ones!

Exactly. There is so many new Dapps coming out. And the best part is there is no added curation deductions for this website. So like to help the websites grow, take steepshot for example. Steepshot will take 10% of your curation rewards where steempeak will take 0!! There are detailed payout buttons also. My favorite steem site for sure so far.

I don't mind sharing my rewards with good devs at this time.
Steepshot is great for mobile posting. I even did my food fight Friday post using it today, although it turned out not as pretty as I'd like.
Competition and open platform are making Steem awesome.

Yeah true. 50% of my time spent at work is on partiko and steepshot. The entire basis of steem is only to change your point of social media. So what's the difference if I'm on steem or on Facebook. Nothing. It dosnt take away from Facebook, but it gives to the steem community 10fold! But yeah I post on steepshot every day anyways because I always liked Instagram. So just change your point of posting!

Ha, thanks! The number is a little funky because there was a point when 50-60 fake accounts all followed me within a few days.
But yeah, I hit 1000, then dropped to 999, then hit 1000 again, and now I'm at like 1004. So hooray! But I'm most excited about the fact that I'm getting more people commenting and engaging with one another, and also increasing traffic to my .com site. :-)
Yeah I'm getting really excited about it. I get about an average of 5 or 6 likes on my posts, and two comments. Which is fantastic because those are all from active followers I have picked up this month. I'm betting the first 300 followers I got went inactive because of the bear market! Which is a shame but oh well. I'll be excited when I average like 10 or so comments a post. I don't mind when I don't get a lot of up votes, I would rather engage with the people but I also wouldn't mind like 1 steem a post haha!

It takes time. Glad you're enjoying it... totally agree about the first few hundred followers being gone.
Shrug.
If they come back in the next bull run things will get epic pretty quickly!

yeah! i cant stop using it now! i will be honest though, i saw you use partiko, i get my notifications on partiko like 3 minutes before the ones on Steempeaks OR Busy.org
Oh really?? Does it work in mobile too??.. i usually use Partiko when commenting is much faster.. hehe.. i gotta need to try steempeak.. but i need to delete some apps, my ohone is kinda slowing down already.. i was planning to try steempeak im my lappy.
