My days at Facebook may be numbered but good riddance, I'll take Steemit over it and/or any other social media any day!

But really tho. Facebook has gotten so lame. It is simply an echo chamber for the left to scream at each other and cry. And the propaganda constantly being pumped into everyone's brain via all the shitty "news outlets" like NowThis and other lame ass companies.
The weak minded soak it all in. And our youth, corrupted. We need something to wake up the masses.
The fake news media is running scared and its laughable! Steemit has the potential to bring back power to the people.
I use Facebook and Twitter to try to get people onto Steemit. It's easier said than done, but I have gotten at least 3 people here so far.

I hear you Dan. Loving this platform since joining it last month and your Content as well. The fact is we have a President in the US. who wants to strengthen defamation Laws and implement lawsuits towards civilians because he is tired of hearing News that he disagrees with. And the #FakeNews he and his Followers are always accusing the Free Press of...well it is something that has been going on for many, many decades in our Country. To both left and right wing Presidents and politicians. What Trump wants to do is Censor NOT Fake news but news that he disagrees with. You know what that sounds like to me ?? I have found no censorship on this website so far I can tell from the comments it's free and open .

@pressfortruth any idea how we handle the blockage of the URL steemit.com ? In germany a left wing news site was taken down in an instant by this measure.

I suspect that the news about twitter and other social media companies censoring and ghettoizing views and opinions that the technocrats don't like is going to result in more popularity for steemit and the blockchain.... This is good news for those of us investing our time and resources and capital into the growth of the blockchain. The more they stiffle dissent and try to stop the free flow of information, the more people will look for and discover these alternatives.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for putting information like this out there. Censorship is everywhere, it is also here on steemit.
We need more people like you with a high enough reputation to be able to tell the truth without getting destroyed by downvoters.
I am sorry that for the time being I will have to hold my breath and cannot comment on your post in a more meaningful way, however I will resteem your post.
Unfortunately I still watch most information on YT because they have a notification system which pushes your posts at me. If Steemit isn't going to instigate one - perhaps you could start an email list of viewers / supporters to push notifications at us?
Hopefully soon people will wake up and see that nothing from Corporate media/Gov is truly trustworthy. We need to look at everyone and decide for ourselves what we view as truthful. It's more work but much more rewarding, and enlightening.
