A HAPPY 2018 APPROACH

It's a new year. We have another 365 days to do beneficial things with our lives. I thought to share this little 2018 approach with the good people of Steemit.

• Accept and forget the mistakes of the past: We've made a lot of action or inaction errors in 2017 that we regret. Well, the past is in the past. Let it stay where it belongs and don't let it interfere with the progress of 2018. "The truth is, unless you let go, unless you forgive yourself, unless you forgive the situation, unless you realize that the situation is over, you cannot move forward."—Steve Maraboli. Move forward!

• Be goal-oriented: We all want to have the confidence to say 2018 was a fulfilling year at the end. What better way to work this by setting goals? Get a notepad or whatever and write in bullet points what you want to achieve in 2018. Add a timeframe. Before June, I should have done this or that.
After setting the goals, work towards it. Laziness and procrastination profit no man. Take actual actions towards the achievement of the goal. Be eager to put your goals to work. Have a drive. Don't be lackadaisical about it.

• Have faith in you: It is not enough to set goals. It is the confidence embedded in us, that gives us the ability to achieve it. "Any transition is easier if you believe in yourself and your talent.'- Priyanka Chopra. First bring down the mountain of doubt and see how you've been limiting yourself all these years.

For me, I hope to achieve unimaginable feats this year, and have made drastic decisions concerning that... And no, it's not going to be a new year resolutions thing since my NYresolutions are almost usually forgotten as soon as it's 24 hours into the new year. My 2018 will be better than the past years. It is my new dawn.

The goal is to be a better you/me by the end of 2018. Smile more. Put a smile on others' faces. Do that which you want to do. Be happy about your existence. Laugh over problems, let them roll off your back. It's a you thing, love you. Give back to the community. Help the good way you can. Spread the love. Steem well. Life is worth living, so live it on a new level!

A big thank you to Steemit and all my followers especially @asaj who always took out the time to comment on my posts and upvote. You all made 2017 ending worth it. It was a good finishing for me. Thank you!
