Steemit drawbacks
Steemit sucks but not because of the platform itself but ironically enough, the users whom have become network overseers! Steemit feels more like a job with quality control police looking over your shoulder at every moment.
At first, I loved the idea of people getting paid out for original work but then I began to notice that Steemit is actually a fucking job, which you rapidly begin losing the pleasure of being on. As I said before, I understand that all original content is desired but I have noticed some people being treated rather rudely because of what they chose to post!
For heaven's sake, it's supposed to be a free platform but if feels like Facebook with a new branch of the NSA over it! Almost everyone knows the basic standard for tipping here but some people don't mind tipping for different reasons and that shouldn't be fought against, or ultimately, Steemit will lose out to other social networks that allow their users more freedom in tipping. Besides, isn't the objective to get the most people to use your token and social network afterall?
It is rather strange, Steemit. I agree. One fact that puzzles me deeply is the fact that after seven days of existence, posts almost disappear. I keep finding myself reading months old articles. But it looks like by doing so I am positioning myself outside of the game...
I´ll keep trying. I still have the feeling this is a better platform to expose your work than a normal blog.
