For Aussies, I would suggest opening a Coinspot exchange account.
Then once you've converted your SBD / Steem to BTC using your guide, it is a simple process to transfer it to Coinspot and convert to AUD.
Good to know, thanks for adding that. I know it's different in different places, for a while, none of the bitcoin cards were available in the states. They all said they were, but you'd order them, and then they'd tell you that they couldn't send it to you.
