You have reminded me in one of the courses I am attending to in my finals Mass Communication called a Broadcast Management and Operations. I have been taught to apprehend the comparison and contrast between a leader and a manager. Interestingly, your point is synonymous to what I have learnt. To add to this, a leader innovate, inspire and maintain direction in conformity to the goals of the organization while a manager of boss see to the button line, direct and control.
