My Response to @virtashare’s post “Why this post is good for my self esteemit…

I want to thank @bitminter for pointing me to a person here on Steemit named @virtashare who lives in South Africa with his wife and four kids. In his introductory post @virtashare states that he does web design and development with a technical motorcycle mechanic background.

Yesterday I wrote an article about how I woke up the other day feeling very heavy emotionally and physically because right now Steemit as I see it is my only hope for income for this week. I’ve been into self-development (developing myself) for over 30 years now. It all started when I joined a Karate/Kung-Fu club in my hometown when I was 21. I was able to earn my blackbelt by the time I was 24 and was introduced back then to the writings of Bruce Lee when I read his book “Tao.of.Jeet Kune Do.” For that was the beginning of my searching for the ever elusive secret to self-mastery which Bruce pointed out so eloquently and Zen-like in his book. One of his adages was to “keep moving.” “Take action” and so with that in mind I was able to take action yesterday by participating on Steemit with both reading others’ articles and also writing and posting my own as well as reading about how I can do a better job of providing high quality posts here. This taking of action, I see is the solution to my problem.

I am sure virtashare also knows this is the solution for his problems.
I don’t want to get too deep into Bruce Lee and his philosophy in this post because I have another post I am working on for Bruce. I do want to say how thankful I am to @Ned and @Dan for starting Steemit for allowing me and many others like @virtashare to contribute to the community. Many of us have talents and interests that are different from one another and of course this is what we want; diversity. At the same time it’s an opportunity by way of using the internet to not only connect with others from all around the world but for each one of us to expand what we’re interested in by reading articles here on Steemit.

In fact, if it wasn’t for Steemit, as an example, I probably wouldn’t have ever read anything about cryptocurrencies nor found out that there are actual money exchange services much like the Dow Stock exchange that exchange Cryptos for actual fiat money. Really cool! I’ve also been spending some time reading up more on how bitcoin works.
I also want to help support others who are just starting out on Steemit if I can…like @bitminter mentions in one of his posts, we can support each other and it only takes a click to do so.

This brings me back to @virtashare. Yesterday I wrote an article telling of my joblessness (other than here on Steemit) and how I was battling mentally and emotionally with staying positive so I can take action. I believe there are many people out there, like @virtashare who are worse off than I. To tell you the truth, I have more than a few friends and family members who I know will help me if I lose my apartment and I know that there are many folks out there like virtashare who are in situations where no one near them can help them. If you can support him by reading his posts and upvoting him and also by including him in any web development projects, I am sure he will appreciate the help. I know he wants to be a big contributor in our Steemit community.

I also realize that Steemit likes to have pics of people with a dated signs in their hands on a post for id verification but vertashare says he wants to remain anonymous because of his wife. Perhaps there is a way he can send this pic via Slack.
