If leadership is about making others better as a result of your presence, then Steemit is the prime example of this definition.

There are many reasons for associating generous claims to Steemit. This post highlights some of the prominent aspects of Steemit leadership which make other better.

1. Steemit is a Benevolent Economy

Benevolence means:-

• Charitable kindness
• An altruistic gift or act

Steemit is all about benevolence. It is a benevolent economy. A community based platform which rewards genuine work. By making Steemit reward system available to everyone who joins, Steemit leadership has placed itself such that good can happen to everyone.

Steemit and its reward system is a gift, an act of giving. The whole platform makes everyone better by providing a chance to get rewarded for efforts.

2. Steemians Become Better Writers/Bloggers/Artist

The essence of Steemit is creating and contributing great content. It almost compels everyone to learn how to write engaging posts. There are so many writers who are sharing incredible insights from their life and experience.

Steemit bloggers are now featuring in Google search results regularly on a variety of topics. Cryptocurrency is a topic most frequently covered by the community and Google now trusts Steemit articles on crypto trends more than the crypto blogs out there.

Artists, photographers, musicians, and painters are having a great time sharing their magic with the world. Their audience loves them and they get rewarded for doing what they love without having to be salespersons themselves. They do more to become better and Steemit is to be credited for making it possible.

3. Communities Are Flourishing

If you are active on Steemit for more than one day, you may already have seen a community here on Steemit. SIN is a community of Nigerians. Communities are officially encouraged and are helped through SP delegation regularly by influential Steemian leaders. Other than communities, there's an ever growing list of curation projects which hunt down great content and upvote it heavily; earning great curation rewards but helping authors significantly. @ocd, #untalented by @surpassinggoogle, #upvotable by @jerrybanfield and @curie are some great curation projects.
