Is there a boost method in steemit and if not why ?

I started using steemit from 2017 and it was the best platform for me and then the hive.blog came after that and it was identical to steemit and i started using it to cause it was not centralised as steemit and the idea was more safe to me and then i found that the echo system for it was more promising for me but steemit still can do more but i do not understand why it didn't work on it until now i really wants steemit to do more and please if i am wrong tell me maybe i am not seeing the big picture.
