I believe self voting your content that you spent valuable time and resources to write is not a bad idea becauae it is just a way of rewarding your hardwork and bring your post to spotlight for others to see, but self voting your comments regularly is what I frown at especially those minnow, dolphin and whales. Because the have more influence in the reward pool and which will drain the pool rewards to a certain fortunate few individuals @gadrain

Well, yes that is roughly 10% of my total upvotes, apparently. Not a huge amount, and that was my justification too, that it's a way to value my time spent writing the post, but on one side a few cents (or even a few dollars) is hardly a value I could find satisfactory in terms of value of time, on the other hand, why not return everything to the community and let them be more objective judges.

In the end, I'm more of a long distance runner than a sprinter, so I'll be the judge of this time spent writing for a dollar or less maybe a year, maybe few years into the future.
