This was my first car, I was only 16 when my father brought it home, I'll never forget that day, I had two months before I could get my permit but he took me out and let me drive it on a back street. It had a 302 cubic inch engine with a 4 speed. This is the exact color, stripes, vinyl top and inside. The only difference back then was we all had cragar ss mag wheels. Then I got hooked on Drag Racing and in 1976 I bought a 1971 z28 also red and black stripes, it was a drag car you couldn't drive it on the street. Then in 1978 I bought a 1975 Monza Pro Stock car from a famous owner by the name of Bill (Grumpy) Jenkins of which was the fastest, it had a parachute to slow it down at the end. All good memories. Also made the cover of Chevy Action magazine.
