ICO - Initial Coin Offerings is the new way of raising funds in crypto world. Ethereum is the major currency for any ICO , funds are raised with Ether as it is safest and the fastest transaction and transfer.

Daily we can see many ICOs coming up in the market but the other fact is most of them will be failing in future after the raise funds, ICO is easiest way to take peoples money , so it is very important to do lot of research about upcoming ICO before you invest in any of them.

Most of the ICOs major problem is that they dont have any working prototype or any product , they just a whitepaper on their website, I mean they cant just raise money through the whitepaper. There are some legit projects who raise money on their whitepaper but they are very less , and you should be sure about it .

Other thing matters as investor point of view is their community. How bis is their community ? are people supporting them or not , lot of people were saying what does it has to do with community , but community is very essential according to my knowledge, becuase if you have a large community you can easily get listed on big exchanges like Bittrex or Poloniex.
Best way to find about community is check their Slack or Telegram groups.

Next is hard cap . How much money are they planning to raise from the ICO ? We see most of the ICOS raise millions of money just on white paper , but I would say if you want good returns on your investment you only invest in good ICOs who has a cap of max 30 million .

Next part is Team and Advisers . You need to check if they are having good well qualified team and all start advisers , who all are supporting the project is very important to check before you invest in them.

Finally last is when are they issuing you tokens , some ICOs give tokens immediately after the sale but few ICOs lock uo your tokens for a very long time like 6-7 months , I wouldnt go for such long term unless it is very legit ICOs
