GETTING MORE VALUE FOR YOUR STEEMIT POST-2

Its been roughly a week plus now, since i got into the steem community and so far i've gained a reputation of 52 and as well over 200 followers.

During this short period, I've spent most of my time studying how people interact on the network. What differentiate the works of those tagged successful on steem and those still struggling, why some post get more value than others and why some posts though of less value generally to the community but still tagged and highlighted on the top trending, and as much conclusions i can make regarding this, i still cant pinpoint a direct reason to what method works best to attain this, however i will drop some of my findings below..

Newbies and even some middleterm users get frustrated along the path and give up, probably due to this reasons. According to @chbartist

From my findings and research,Promotion Services is one of the Key factors which distinguishes the successful from the struggling (i talked about 5 other factors in my previous article, you can check on that here>> , i once wrote a motivational article on "Why most people end up not achieving their dreams" and an acquaintance of mine and also one of my follower commented

this post should be trending.

However the post wasnt trending, lol, not because it wasnt good enough or of much value to the steemit community but because the curation value of the post wouldnt let it be seen to most readers on the daily feed.

HOW PROMOTION SERVICE WORKS

Promotion services along side your reputation helps alot in making your post easily seen to the general public and making it stay afloat on the daily feed, the steem community base on its structure prioritizes the value of a post based on the curation value of that post, and not because of the actual content value in essence post with value worth of 500$ will be placed on the top of a feed compared with post of 100$ talk less of those with less than 10$(you probably wont see them trending ever on top feeds in years-too bad and discouraging).
I wont blame steem either for this cause i dont expect them to read each post and say which is more helpful or not, however, this is the case in real life no matter how talented you are if you are not given the opportunity to display your talent no one will ever know you and you will die with it. #Fact

With a promotion bot or services you can promote a post to get more curation reward and make it more seen to the community, from which more users and readers can get to know you and thereafter more chances of you getting quality followers and better chances to be a renowned author.

Take for instance two Authors A and B.
Author A, publish an original article which took him alot of time to compose and after publishing get just $0.02 for the post,probably 45upvotes, and few comments from the few followers hes struggling to get.
Really frustrating isnt it?

On the other hand Author B, publishes his article with content not even as rich as those of author A but promoted his article with promobots and then his post stays afloat on the trending feed with over 500$ and still counting.

Theres a funny but true quote in the christian bible which says;

to those who have more will be added

This very well applies in steem, now author B's content is placed on the trending feed and most steemians now believe his post has good content or value because of the USD value placed at the side of the article, they tend to give him more upvote and possibly follow him, dont forget more USD value of a post more curation reward when you upvote(curate) that post.

Now author A thinks Author B is a successful blogger or probably doesnt think so and get more angry and furious and then frustrated and oops probably give up on his steemit writtings because he feels his post dont get the value they deserve.

This scenario happens alot on the steem community and i believe am not the only one who must have observed this.

This is the major reasons why the promotion service is a very strong key factor in achieving success on steemit.
If you doubt me check all post on the trending list on steem and check the curators list and vote value, as well as the recent transaction of the authors wallet, 99.9% of the time i found it all to be from promotion services.

HERE ARE SOME PROMOTION SERVICES WHICH I FIND VERY HELPFUL AND REWARDING

1. @appreciator : appreciator promotion services gives you between 170-180% returns of your invested promo capital in essence when you invest 10SBD to promote an article the bot upvotes your post with about 18$ returns. (min 5SBD or Steem)

2. @postpromoter : this works similar to appreciator but with lesser reward of about 160-170% . (min 5sbd or steem)

3. @buildawhale : this is one of my favourite because the curators team sometimes go through the post they curate and if you are lucky or have a very rich content they could place you on their daily curators contest which in turn get you more quality followers and increases your reputation as well, ive been shortlisted few times there so trust me its a nice one. (min 5sbd or steem)

4. @hugewhale : this are cheaper promobot which is also helpful for followers growth in the sense that they upvote your post as well as resteem to over 10k followers, this helps your post get easily seen by a larger audience and possibly get you followers who find your article interesting to read.(min 0.7sbd)

5. @gangresteem : this is similar to @hugewhale

6. @smartsteem: this is also a good promotion service, which upvotes your post partly with their vote power and as well with the various amount of delegated vote offered to them by their subscribers. the value of the upvote given to you fully based on the investment which you used.

The list goes on and on, and several better ones.

NOTE: when using a promo bot what i usually check is the current voting power and upvote value of the bot as well as the mode of promotion it serves. for effective promotion of your post i would recommed working with those promoter who gives you 160% value return on your post as well as those who resteems your post and give you more upvote numbers.

This is the strategy i recommend to help you get more value.

1. Write an article and take your time to write this, make it rich and worth reading, sometimes i take up to 7 hours to write an article and reread it before publishing. Just make sure your article is worth reading and of good quality to the community

2. Place the article in the appropriate tags and sometimes not necessarily on the hot feeds like life or bitcoin etc else you have a good amount of money to promote this.

3. use promotion services which gives you good return of investments so you can get your money back with profit. example: you can promote a post with 100$ and get back 188$ with @appreciator (dont forget 75% gets to you and the remaining 25% goes back to the curators)

4. assist your promotion with cheaper bots such as @hugewhale or @gangresteem @big-whale with probably 0.7-2 SBD and inturn gets more number of upvotes and post resteems,
   This way you dont get much upvote value, lol you can get up to 500upvote still at just 0.05cents value lol hahahhaha, however your post gets resteemed and you get more possibility of having more followers who find your post useful to them.

5. Dont forget the more upvote you have and the more post value in $ you have the more attractive your post is to be read and stay on the trending feed.

I really do not know how long things will go like this on steem cause i personally dont like the idea, cause from my few times steem is suppose to be a community which gives value to users for writing, i mean nearly all advert of steems states:

dont write for free and get paid for writting

Yet the power of the voting and those who really profit it are less than 10% of the entire community.

I hope things change in the future, where quality post and article are really given the value they deserve.
