Celebrating Independence With 200 Followers

I am celebrating a different kind of Independence, an Independence from other social medias.
I am happy to say that since I got to know Steemit 3 weeks ago that's the only social media I play with.

I used to be on Instagram and facebook, wasting my time on meaningless likes and follows, not realizing what opportunity I am missing...

One day I came across someone's post I can't even recall who was that, but he was talking so passionately about Steemit and how he was making money from having fun connecting with an awesome community.
You can guess what my reaction was...

I thought it was too good to be true, like most people does at first, so I registered and then left the website waiting to be approved.
One day later and I already forgot about steemit and just moved on with my life.

A few days later I was checking my emails and then I saw I've been approved to steemit, took me a few seconds to remember what's that but then I got super excited.

Seeing people getting 1k+ payouts was terrific, I thought to myself how is that even possible?
It was hard to believe such a thing is real,
I was sad for not knowing this place earlier but better late than never right?

I just fell in love with the community, even though I'm traveling atm I'm still spending several hours a day having fun on Steemit, just wanted to celebrate that with you.
