Oinky Oink: A New Investment Venture

Eversince I got married, my husband and I always think of setting aside part of our income into savings.We always see to it that we have something to put into our account every payday.We considered it as an application to the so called the Law of Self Payment, the first principle of investment.
Few Years gone by, we have come out to a decision of venturing into small businesses like coffee vending and automated water vending machines. Now, we have found this new small business that guarantees a profitable outcome, the piggery. At first I was hesitant because people use to say that pigs are filthy, at the same time I know that I'll be taking care of the pigs by the power of my own hands. I couln't imagine it at first to be sweeping their dirt and have them take a bath and scrubbing those dirt that sticks to their body. But hooray! I made it.

We just venture as fatteners. Here's how we started the small piggery fattening business we have.
First, we constructed the pig cage or pen suitable enough for five pigs. Making it sure that it's properly ventilated, may sounds funny because I made a survey to neighboring piggery they don't have one, but we even put ceiling fan. Second, we arranged an area for them to drink water. For the water not to be contaminated, we do not use basin. We connect a hose with a nipple to a tank, we put two since we planned to have five. Third, we bought five piglets with a minimum weight of fifty pounds as recommended by those reputable hog raisers. We started feeding them pre starter pillets, after a month we change it to starter then to grower.It also includes providing vitamins for them, we use vetracin, it's the one popular in our area. Lastly, after three to four months with a minimum of eighty to ninety kilos, the pigs are ready to be sold.

Venturing into any business is a no easy thing. There's always the risk involved.
I am just thankful enough that this new found investment we have works very well.Of course this is after a careful study applying the second rule of investment that is the law of wise counsel, or seek advise on investing. That's what we did and might work as well to others. Now, after three months, we have received a well compensated amount for the investment we have put into it.
