The Infamous @craig-grant has decided to leave Steemit!!!!! I am still in disbelief!!!!
There are hundreds if not thousands of users who have joined Steemit because they were inspired by @craig-grant!!!!!
Unfourtunately @craig-grant has chosen to step away from the Steemit platform. Yesterday I noticed he hadn't posted all day and I found it kind of strange. So I went to his page and sure enough he had not posted. I than went to YouTube and checked his page out and saw a video he posted called "STEEM kicked me to the curb" I watched the video and honestly I was a little confused.
I know he had his little group of haters who constantly spewed out hatred towards him but in the last couple days things started to get really heated. I am not here to give these people any shine.
This post is to bid farewell to a man who devoted his life for the past year to Steemit. His influence not only on this platform but also on YouTube has introduced tons of users to this platform we love. I myself came to Steemit directly because of him.
I don't know what the future will hold for you Craig but I wish you and your family the best!!!!! May you find the true meaning of success you are working for!!!!!!
As for anyone who was introduced to Steemit by him please leave a comment bidding him farewell (or a plead for him to stay...)!!!!!!

To get new thinks in your life you have to let lose to older thinks maybe he had enough after one year and has new plans where he will have no time more for steemit. But it is true because of him many people came to steemit.
yes, your words are the same I have heard from others who know me well, they say I was wasting my time on steemit, certainly not last year or early this year, but for the past couple months as my income grew, I started hearing from those close to me that I am wasting my time posting on steemit, I did not agree, but after yesterday not posting... I am starting to agree :)

I'm one of those who heard of Steemit from Craig. And yes, a part of me feels like I'm wasting my time here. Over hundred posts, and less than 10 bucks earned.
You know @craig-grant if we do something what ever it is and it pays out to our satisfaction and helps other people, I don't see it as a wast of time but there comes always a moment in life where we have to stop with what we do and focus on new upcoming things in our life. Man what ever you do next and you do it with that same energy like you did here on Stemit you will be for sure successful. I wish you all the best for your future and if you like to steem again you know there is always a place for you here.

It's not gonna be the same @craig-grant. Whenever I came to steemit I would almost always see you at the top of my feed, and I enjoy your videos. I hope in the end you stay, but do what you have to do man. I hope these SJW's don't take over steemit. We don't need the negativity here.

True True sad day. He was what brought me to Steemit as well. He brought a lot of people here just based on word of mouth. You can't be held to our past but have to live for the moment in the moment and forward. I do hope he changes his mind. Hes done a lot for the platform I cant speak on anything else.
Well, I am highly inspired by @craig-grant. He is the reason I joined steemit and I highly respects him. Always read and view his all posts. I am also kinda shocked when he didn't post the whole day otherwise he always posts twice on his steemit profile. I always liked his style and his money making gesture. I hope he'd back soon . There was a whole hashtag devoted to him here, and occasionally, a "hater post" targeting him would show up re-steemed in my newsfeed. Let's just say there is a group of people here saying some pretty horrible things about him and his wife....things that would make me leave, too (and consider legal action for libel against the ones making the accusations).
that's stuff is many years old, seen it all before here on steemit, but it never lasted long as the whales back then would flag hatred to protect the platform, most of those whales and originators of steem blockchain have already left steemit, even if they have not cashed out, they are certainly not active anymore

Not sure who is right or wrong in the situation but it sucks that it came to this...seems like so much time wasted.
not wasted time, my wallet has 189,000 steem worth almost $300,000, pretty good pay for 1 year of blogging for fun, by the time i power down all that steem, price might be $5 per steem, that's 1 million dollars for me :)
Well what I meant was...so much wasted time by the other parties to dig up a whole bunch of stuff just to "potentially" ruin your credibility.
Seems like a bunch of wasted time on their behalf...like seriously, they are hating on you like it's homework.
People seem not to remember how CG, and other people within his orbit, are responsible for massive fraud and, directly, another man committing suicide - right after he was deceived and ripped-off. Let's not call CG the victim here - because he's definitely not suffering, materially, from what happened.
Is it right to call anyone a "hater" for talking about the truth? Do you even know the truth about CG & Yulianas' past? Have you even made an attempt to look into it? Try not to hate me for talking about the facts - but a man is dead. There might not have been enough evidence to secure a legal prosecution & a conviction of a crime - but that doesn't bring a dead man back to life, either. There's a good reason why CG is getting some static here on SteemIt. I think the platform will not be hurt too much by his departure.
Try not to confuse sharing the truth and giving people a good, healthy warning with "hate" - because it's not an accurate comparision.
