Is Steemit for real, Steem price drops again
With the price of Steem being so incredibly low, 70 cents right now, one has to wonder, is it a good time to buy or is it just over for the Steem blockchain?
Having only joined Steemit a week ago, I still have absolutely no clue on how to actually go about purchasing Steem even if I wanted to. I do sincerely hope that it comes back, because even though I don't have any, I do enjoy the platform so far. Granted, I only have one week experience. But I do wonder if I am wasting my time posting over here.

We have been here about a month. For us it has been a wonderful experience.
It depends on what you are looking for too. If you are looking for a quick and easy way to make a lot of money, then I doubt that this is going to deliver that. You certainly can make money here, but its not quick and it's not easy.
If you are looking for a place to be creative, and get a response, to have people appreciate what you have to offer, then this may well be the place.
If you want to be a part of a community, to make relationships with good people. Welcome Home.

We have been on YouTube and Facebook for three years and have never felt as loved and cared about there. Here we are part of a community. That is great to hear that you feel cared about here, as I was starting to read more and more I was getting discouraged that too many were just posting nonsense for the money. I did not come to this platform for money, even though my username suggests otherwise, although that would be a fun benefit for sure. Mostly came for fun and to learn something new. My money endeavors are offline, except for a side gig of selling items on online platforms (ebay, facebook, etc.).
It is something that will take time. If you are putting up quality posts, they will eventually get seen. This is a platform where you have to be patient. Go on to other people's post and listen to what they have to say and then comment. Commenting is so so important. You become friends eventually. We are following you now and, I assume, you are following us. You got this.
