Too many people have invest to much money in Bitcoin to let just disappear so easy - I am sure that people out there that are workig on the new Bitcoin's blockchain protocol, are aware of the responsability and even though there is no general decision made yet, I am still sure there will be no Bitcoin fork because everyone knows what will happen to Bitcoin if it would fork, right...?
