Hi @mllg, absolutely. :) So, currently, booleancoin hasn't been listed on any exchanges yet and it is still a speculative asset. Once listed on an exchange (we are actively working toward this), supply and demand will set the price and having it prior to it's listing puts you in a position to potentially make a lot of money if the demand is high (this is the case for all tokens that are listed on exchanges as well, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, etc.). Booleancoin is a store of value whose price is determined by the market (the same for all tokens), a token representing user contribution to the Boolean platform in the case of rewards, as well as a subscription-paying tool, holders getting benefits when using Boolean's Software/plugins/platform. Only 20,000,000 Booleancoins Will Ever Exist. No Central Minting Function Has Ever Or Will Be Ever Added To The Token. It is an ERC20 token on The Ethereum Blockchain.
It will be a means of transacting on Boolean, a News Accuracy Platform. GainingSteem.Com is building this as a means to bring fact-checking, accuracy, and, in turn, confidence back to the reporting realm. We think that Fake News has been the cause of outcomes of elections, market shifts that have led to fortunes being lost, and countless scenarios that have led to consumers losing money. We think it is unethical to report in an inaccurate and/or misleading way and we want to bring a stop to that by providing real-time information regarding news accuracy. :) We will be releasing a prototype in the near future.
