What I think of Steemit

Steemit is a pretty interesting platform, it allows others to share their passions, discuss on various topics, read stories of moving lives and share what we hold dear. Indeed, on this platform, it is possible to learn a lot and even meet incredible people. But certainly, this application isn't as perfect as I would have thought at first. There's a lot of abuse, despite the surveillance, many people abuse this platform and try to make money in a disrespectful way, especially when someone tries to belittle another user. Warning. So yes, Steemit allows people like me to express themselves and share interesting stuff, but it also allows people to abuse it. What is sad is that many users comment articles without even having read them, or they write the same comment on several different articles without even upvote the article in question. In short, a large portion of the community on Steemit thinks only about easy money. A minority write articles for pleasure and without thinking about money. Nor do I say that it is automatically negative that there is money on Steemit, but I see a difference in the way people in this community act. In the beginning, you don't necessarily see all these details, but when you are spending more time on Steemit you can quickly realized that there is abuse. For my part, I was fortunate to be well surrounded and welcomed when I started here, in part through advice from the older users of the platform.

My advice is: make articles that you are passionate about and discuss with people who share the same interests as you.

also with so many users the structure of the front page isn't much usable. Even when you joined i scrolled manually a bit to find you help and greet you. Nowadays it's a mess. People as you said abuse everything as well as the tags so let's go to the intro page. What we will see is that 80%+ of the posts are fake accounts, bots and people that abuse the tag so it's way hard for someone to find an actual newbie and greet-guide him.

In other words you join, mostly nobody greets you except some bots, you feel unconsciously that nobody cares about you so you become an abuser too or just leave the platform

Yes, I agree. Nothing to add.
