Yet another example of government incompetence
If you ever needed something to show you how bad government intervention is:
Essentially everything the government took control over increased my up to 4 times the level of inflation, and those things where the government largely stayed away from (as much as you can expect from the government) the price relative to inflation actually dropped.
Having too many smart people in a country is not controllable, they keep you stupid for a reason. Seems like healthcare is also being increased to control the population, everything has a reason.
I'm not sure if i buy into all the conspiracy theories. That would involved attributing enough intelligence to the people in charge.
