Steemit vs Tsu

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

Does anyone remember tsu network that came out last year? I remember being on it and it had pretty much the same concept as Steemit.

People would post things and you would get rewarded with money based on how many likes, comments or shares your posts got. It was basically just a spam network and people just posted anything to get likes, so value was lost because people were lazy, especially due to lack of content that was unique. People mainly just copied and pasted images, stories etc.

What are your thoughts on the parallels between the two? At the moment it seems that there is already so much unoriginal and very lazy content coming up every second on Steem.

I do like the idea of Steemit though but it is hard to compete with bots.
