New Phishing Scam, same method! How to protect your STEEMIT account from Steemconnect clone scam?

Today one more Steemian got hacked and all Steem/Sbd stolen from his account. He recovered his password but damage already done.

He didn't know that link in comment of his post is phishing scam.

We can see that user who make comment lost his account and scammer now use it to spread phishing links.

If you click on this link it will take you to nice looking, but extremely suspicious website with .ml domain which is already known as well used for this kind of attacks. (I like this background picture of the website so I download it, lol :))



They offer free upvotes but of course this is not true and this lie fooled many people to click on big button "Join now". We can see what is destination of this button, again very suspicious.



After clicking this button everything is clear that this is phishing scam and it's Steemconnect clone.

You will protect yourself only if carefully look in address bar of your browser when you want to login. Don't go to suspicious websites and leave it if you are unsure.
