Warning: Poloniex Lost My Money - 338 STEEM Gone - Poof!

For the past couple weeks, I've been testing all the systems. Powering Up, Powering Down, Cashing-Out, etc. This is the first problem I've had with Poloniex/Steemit since I started a few months ago.

Today was my 4th cash-out using Poloniex. I sent about $100 worth of STEEM to them (338 STEEM). My funds were lost around 12:00 noon EST today. Over the past couple weeks, I made 4 withdrawals. All 4 transactions were identical except for the amount. Each subsequent withdrawal was worth a little more money. The first 3 transactions went perfectly with no problems at all. The 4th transaction just disappeared!! Steemit.com is showing I sent 338 STEEM to Poloniex. My Poloniex account is showing no record of the funds. The transaction just vanished into thin air.

At this time, I don't know where my money is or if it will be returned to me. If I don't get my money back, I probably won't use Poloniex ever again. I'm pretty angry right now.

Your feedback is welcome. Please let me know if you ever experienced a lag in pay-out times when using Poloniex. I submitted a support ticket an hour ago on the Poloniex web-site. I'll let you know how their support/ticketing system performs as well. Does anybody think I'll get my money back today or tomorrow?

3 days ago (the 13th) I "withdrew" 16 Steem on Poloniex. Poloniex now says I have 0 Steem, but it never went to Steem.

I put in a support ticket and got replied later that night "we will look into the matter and get back to you as soon as possible." along with "Apologies for the inconvenience."

Then 11 hours ago from now, I sent a reply asking for a update. Nothing yet. but they seem to have a good reputation. So I'm hoping it's just a technical issue they'll correct and make it right.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and me both! We gotta get our money back!

I just got a reply to my ticket that they re sent it! So my withdraw is finally showing up on Steemit. So they corrected the issue for me.

Raise a ticket - I've had then not credit stuff and it is usually down to their online interface not being updated with the current wallet.

I created a support ticket. No response yet. I'll keep you posted.

I never had a problem with there customer support . Hope your problem will be solved soon.

Thanks. I'm glad to hear someone had good experiences with Poloniex. Even if they just sent the 338 STEEM back to me on Steemit.com I would be happy. Maybe... I could give Bittrex a try next time.

Contact support. Poloniex are pretty good at sorting these issues. Been using them for over 2 years with no complaints. I've had a couple of transactions go awry, all were sorted after raising a call or contacting them via the troll box.

I created a support ticket. No response yet. I'll keep you posted.

Wow, I'm very sorry to hear that. I'm pretty new to all this and haven't done my first cash-out yet so I can't offer any advice. I will be very interested to see how the situation is resolved. Best of luck to you and keep us posted if you can.

Poloniex Support has contacted me. They are looking into it.

I just had the same experience but I have raised a ticket with customer support and I am confident they will sort it out. I have used them in the past and the withdrawals were seamless. Well, just like life, something is bound to go wrong at some point. Just be patient with them and you will be fine.

Poloniex Support just contacted me. They're looking into it. I just had to provide some additional information for the support tech to track it down. Hopefully this will get resolved today or tomorrow. I'll keep you posted.

Glad to hear this is being resolved. Trust is the biggest asset here, lack thereof will kill steemit. Good to see positive response
