Illegal Toys In America ~ YOU CAN'T HAVE THAT HERE! - Check These OUT! 📷 [MY VIDEO inside]
Hey Steemit!
Believe it or not, there are toys that are illegal to be sold here in America! Certain regulatory agencies are always monitoring and approving items for sale in retail markets that they deem safe for us regular folks. They say these regulation are meant to keep us safe. You actually have no idea just how much you are being regulated.
But in today's world with the internet giving full access to all the amazing crevices of hidden humanity, we can discover new ideas and even retail products that in our own country, never have a chance to gain popularity.
A friend of mine on social media about a month ago posted these cool little metal crossbows that shoot toothpick bolts. Some you can buy are more powerful than others based on how many ply's of metal the bow is made from. More plys equal more power. I quickly ordered a few on ebay as they were super cheap.
Ebay is trying to crack down on these from being sold and so it was only a matter of time before you won't be able to find them anymore at all. They ship directly from China and it took about a month to get here.
They are pretty fun and the toothpicks shoot really far. If you want to order them, don't wait!

I could see having one of those, deadly darts anyone? Sharing for others to see the control...
THANKS!
Those are so cool. It sucks to make things illegal that are so fun!
blame the lawyers. :)
We bought some Kinder Eggs in Georgia when we visited a few years back. We also found the Rum Raisin Ritter Sports, which seem to be really hard to find in the US.
They eventually let Kinder eggs in but regulated the toys included inside. No small tiny moving parts used to build toys. So the fun was lost. I think even the company in germany started limiting the kinds of toys put into the eggs. The bottom line is the Lawyers have ruined the world.
I'm sure they were labeled for the American market. I had never seen them before, but my husband had served in Germany, and he wanted to get them for nostalgia's sake. Yes, litigation has ruined a lot of things in our country.
I miss my lawn darts.. :)
Upvote and resteemed!
LOL! Yeah, do they even still sell those? Apparently, you're not allowed to throw anything in American anymore unless its made by Nerf.
Haha..and then only if you are wearing a helmet, knee pads, eye protection..... lol..so much for natural selection.
It seems we have more cool things that are illegal than we do that are legal.
When you think you're free, think of all you're not allowed to have or do.
"You'll shoot your eye out, kid."
Why does Ebay (or even the government for that matter) think it is their job to regulate what is too dangerous for the general public?
"Merry Christmas. Ho. Ho. Ho." {:o/
You asked...I'll answer. LAWYERS!
The things you don't know are display stands for the Crossbow ... you may bend the the narrow parts to 90 degrees and the big plate of the part is the bottom. then lay the Crossbow on top. something like this
have fun :)
Ahhh!
Cool! :-D
I'm thinking the metal plates are little stands to set the crossbows on to. Those are pretty cool. I like the observant line about how our government caters to the lowest common denominator. How true is that? My wife's hairdryer had a warning label on it not to use while in a running shower. How stupid are people to do that? Cool video. Have a great day Zach.
Oh you !! Given truth bombs and hitting the "Guy" button with awesome fun . Thanks !! Steem on !!
