I think steem has the strong fundamentals for long term survival. I bought some steem last week.I bought some today. And I am planning to buy more whenever the price dips.
I agree, I have been expecting a broader crypto pull-back anytime between now and Aug 1st, to last at least into August. I posted a few days back about the downtrend being painted on both BTC and Steem chart dailies.

People kept saying it's the great sale since last week and I thought I got a deal last week... hahaha... and now further discounts...
That chart makes it look like down is the way of the trend. Maybe we will get bellow $0.06, that would be quite the sale campared to this price . . .

Yeah, pretty rough times for Steem. We're in a little recession now, time to buckle down and resist selling at all costs.
