I would advise against delegating to someone who is upvoting all their own comments.
That is what I have noticed about delegation. For weeks, I have been monitoring some accounts; most people get the steem power to use for their own selfish interest. I see people upvoting their comments to recover the invested money back. This is another crazy trend on STeemit.
Hmm, but upvoting ones comment isnt really a bad deal right? i mean, i dont do that except i want my message at the top, but still, some people dont get as much from posts as they would love to, and they may end up wasting their steem and not making it back without upvoting their comments.
Yea it isn't a bad thing if you are using for visibility, but if you do it on a not so valuable comment, then it is obvious it is for the reward.

It's fine to use it appropriately. There are people who are just extracting rewards though, such as by voting 10 of their own comments to 100% every day.

We cannot help but have many of those Shitpost as there are no requirement on what can be posted on the blockchain. The only thing we can do as Steemians is not to upvote such shit.. I only upvote content i like and is of good quality.
Personally I'm reviewing accounts before I delegate to them. It's likely that the default price on the market is just too high right now. I'm also downvoting self voters, regardless of delegation.
Good job you are doing for the community @demotruk. But some steemians don't believe their is something wrong in upvote.
