Albert Einstein one said “I do not know with what weapons World War III will be fought, but I do know that World War IV will be fought with rocks.” This quote expresses the true potential of mankind's newly-found power and shows that we should use it wisely, however the Israel-Palestine conflict has been a topic of controversy for the past century, but who is right and if so who deserves Gaza Strip. I believe that it doesn’t matter whether Israel gets it or Palestine because if the violence doesn’t stop then it doesn’t matter who has the land. Although, I believe that Israel shouldn’t back out and it has its own reasons as to why they haven’t resolved this situation in an orderly manner.

This conflict began in the early 20th century when the Ottoman Empire had occupied the land we now know as Palestine and Israel. After World War 1 had ended in 1918, the Ottoman empire collapsed altogether. The British and French then decided to form the Middle East and Britain controlled the region that was known as the British Mandate. This region included Palestine and soon enough people were immigrating to this area in 1919 but the two ethnic groups began committing acts of violence against each other. Which led to limiting immigration in that area and then World War 2 came along in 1939 which was a traumatic time for the Jewish population.

After it ended in 1945, the situation was handed over to the UN who decided that there should be 2 separate states for them. The goal was to give the Jews and Palestinians their own states to end the violence. The Jews were chill with this but the Palestinians disagreed and they thought that their land had been given to these outsiders, Palestine declared war on Israel in 1948 and Israel won.
