Steem at 0.80$
The price appears to have stabilized over the last day or so at the same time the trading volume has dropped to about a third of what it was a couple days ago.
Currently just over 3 million $ in the last 24 hours.
We are also now standing number 12 in total market value at 186 million $.
My feeling is that the price will correct in the next days, but of course I prefer it if it skyrockets as do most of you I can only imagine.
A higher price of steem means increased post payouts, more interest from new users wanting to join and share quality content on this amazing blockchain and of course a higher likelyhood of cryptocurrency news sites writing articles about us.
I hope it goes up more, But who knows!!
Let's see if we can build a range first over a few months. A few weeks isn't good enough to know if this price has been validated, in my view.
Once the volume returns we will see which direction the price of steem wants to travel to :)

The maximum it reached was over 4$, I didnt get involved in steemit until november of last year.

I am sure that our recent spike in price has given all of us a surge of confidence and enthusiasm. We are seeing more evidence that our efforts here will not be wasted.
