Tips on How to Pollinate Dragon Fruit

Good morning steemit friends. Congratulations on doing all activities smooth and successful activities, this morning I will post pollination tips on dragon fruit flowers, on this occasion I will share a little knowledge about pollination on dragon fruit, video pollination process of dragon fruit flowers that I made in front of my house by using camera hp Oppo f1. The flower of the dragon fruit has a large size and has an attractive color with a blend of various colors including yellow, white and green.

Dragon fruit flowers bloom only at night around 8 pm and bloom also only lasted from 8 pm to 8 am. When dragon fruit blooms bloom, will spread the aroma. The scent emitted by the dragon fruit flowers aims to provoke insects, to pollinate the flowers.

Manual pollination of the dragon fruit flowers should be done at night when the flowers are in full bloom. This flower is only open once and without human intervention in assisting pollination, most flowers will eventually wither without producing any fruit, especially Dragon fruit grown in developed residential areas where there are some nocturnal insects to aid the natural pollination process.
