Why si there still no official Steemit app for Android/iOS?
It's been over a year now since our beloved social news platform Steemit has been released. It's been growing pretty well since then - we could witness an emergence of a unique, beautiful community full of impressive and remarkable individuals that daily contribute to the platform with quality content. But even though the project is successful and Steemit has reached over 170 000 active users over a year, there still have been no "boom" yet. I am more than sure that it is just a matter of time until Steemit reaches the point of mass adoption, but still there is this one idea scratching my mind that could eventually help the whole process to happen even sooner.
A simple Steemit app could bring bunch of new features, moreover - it could put the platform on a whole new level making it more accessable for ordinary people, more powerful and versatile for the users and more available for competition against todays social service giants like Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, LinkedIn and many others. Just think about it - what a simple Steemit app could offer:
> Steemit access everywhere
> photo taking/editing
> sharing
> notifications
> integrated STEEM wallet?
> probably even more things that I cannot think of right now... :)
In my opinion it's a great idea to create an Android/iOS Steemit app - not only because it could bring more attention to Steemit platform and attract new users to it, but also because of the overall performance increase. Damn, I dream about checking the Steemit notifications on my smartphone! And what about the integrated Steem wallet, where you could manage all your steem incomes? That would be priceless!
Maybe Steemit devs are already working on such a project, I do not know - I could not find any information on the internet so decided to write a post about it at least - maybe Steemit devs will see it and add this idea to their to-do-list :)

They have esteem for android and while its not the official app ot does pretty much everything you ask for.

Just tough in the year 2017 the development of steemit in the eyes of the public has increased dramatically, the news has also been widespread where. Now just how do we deliver it, invites them to to join steemit. This is really just a matter of time @lifipp
