Day Trip at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium

I decided to take a day trip to The Clearwater Marine Aquarium, home to rescued dolphins Winter and Hope.

Winter was found trapped in a crab trap line and unable to escape. She lost her entire tail from injuries. She is the aquarium‘s most famous dolphin! Winter has been featured on the NBC today show, CNN, BBC, Oprah and even starred in her very own movie, dolphin tale, shot at the aquarium.

This aquarium has so much more to see from sea turtles to sharks. Highly recommend visiting if you are ever in the area.
