Women & Steemit?
I joined Steemit around the end of last summer, but our year was so hectic we focused on moving, remodeling, traveling, etc... so up until the last few months I really didn't put in much effort besides the occasional upvote or comment.
However, I still saw the potential in the site and as soon as things calmed down, I rushed back. Excited to get moving and understanding the platform a little better.
Since then I've mostly read, resteemed and posted random thoughts and stories.
I haven't fully sunk my teeth in, but nevertheless have started to develop new friendships and favorite posters.
For the passed month or so I've used countless ways to try and navigate other women here.
Here's what I've learned...
They are like leading a cat to water! It is mind boggling! Every once in a while I get a response like "oh I'll have to check it out", "I don't have time for that", and even the glance to the man in their life with the "babe, listen to what she's saying so you can do this"!
I face palm. Literally. Right in front of them. These are the same women who are amazed at ideas I've come up with to make money, they're always curious, but when it comes to the work... They lose interest completely!
I can't even understand the reasoning behind this. None of them have the same backgrounds, they have different family situations, careers, etc... but when it comes to cryptos, steemit, or anything of a similar nature, it's a no go as soon as I open my mouth.
So I'm on a mission. I am going to start trying different ways to lead other women to join those of us already here. Over the next few weeks I'm going to employ a few different tactics in hopes of getting women more involved. I'll use other social media outlets that I have large followings to do most of the work, and At the end of the weeks I'll write those that work, and those that fail miserably.
Because I refuse to believe that in a world with so many women preaching education and positivity, that they are this reluctant to change.

Hahaha!! You know I keep looking for these other majestic lionesses to help me take over, but alas they seem like fairytales. Probably why other females dislike me so much (I seen I got my very first down vote on my feminist rant, of course it was from another woman I assume, probably a feminist, since they're so into equal rights) 😂😂😂 how are you doing??
Pretty sweet, thanks. Working on computers during the day, my bike in the evening, and trading metals & cryptos inbetween. Notice how i didn't mention what i do at night. Haha. Thinking about taking a break, wouldn't mind some travelling! "Wherever i go, there i am.."
Haha, it isn't just women. I've introduced this site to plenty of people. Some tried but never really stayed.
