RE: How to attract free random upvote bots?

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

Looking at that account, here's what I see:

In the Wallet, it has 1,329 STEEM Power, and an additional 132k SP which was delegated to it.

I'm not sure how to find out where the delegated SP came from, but I'm certain it's on the blockchain and thus able to be found. It's likely this account has some sort of relationship with the account(s) who delegated to it.

Scrolling down, I see the History in the Wallet shows it's claiming rewards every day or so.

Then I clicked on Rewards, Author Rewards, and see that it's not receiving any (which makes sense, as it has no posts -- although, I do see "1 post" in the header, which is odd). So I clicked Rewards, Curation Rewards, and I see that curation is how this account is making its money.

The delegated SP is the reason its votes are worth so much, and also, the reason it's getting paid so much for upvoting others.

Hope this helps!

Oh, another neat thing -- the very first entry in the Wallet's History was from a friend I've made here, @kid4life! Neat.

This is pretty neat research. But this bot upvote some users posts randomly with the free of cost. Idk how it happens, what type of posts it get attracted.

Yeah, STEEM Power regenerates over time, so this bot has been delegated lots of SP, and then votes people up. It's possible that the people who delegated, are the ones benefiting. Which is why researching how to find where the delegated SP comes from seems like it'd help your understanding of this bot. Cheers!

I really appreciate that you analysed whole profile and prsented your analysis step by step
