I tend to do that for some reply I do, when it is overcrowded with answer and I think what I say matters.

Last point, it is the default setting when doing a post (so people aren't necessarily obnoxious , they just don't pay attention to it... )
I do not think people are doing anything wrong, in taking care of their own interests. What I am talking about is, that Steem would properbly work better if people couldnt upvote themselfes. There are people here that only upvote themselfs and that does not help curating posts objectivily.
I guess the picture suggested that I thought people was doing something wrong, by upvoting themself, it was not meant that way, more as an suggestion to changing the system so upvoting yourself is not possible.
I understand it affects the power to get attention, if you are powerfull. But on the other hand, it will properbly also contribute to quality in the voting process.
