Very effective post. I've seen a few posts like this for beginners and I always find some value. I learned the importance of resteeming in your article. and it also reiterates the importance of upvoting and explained the Curation Rewards to me in more detail. I suggest approaching the contest and challenges cautiously, it appears as if they do not all have our best interests at heart. I've also learned that a reputation number is a good representation of the "Steemian" (is that a word?). Onward Ho... in a life of a minnow. :)
