Sometimes my smartphone is too protective of me. His glowing rectangle closes the face from me passers-by, employees, neighbors on the bus or subway. It protects my composure from casual conversations and people with their emotions or questions.
He hides from me a number of monotonous trees, along which I'm going home, a series of nondescript cars and the track to the house. Sometimes even closes bright and attractive, a dinner, and slowly begins to claim the time before sleep and immediately after waking up.
Oh right, the trees were always there and will probably always. Why to consider them?
The smartphone offers to pay attention to the ocean with a beautiful sunset and a wonderful hammock near. Or to think again that I never serve cheese with figs and so masterfully delicious, as with the proposed picture. Or smile sarcastic joke in a fashionable frame with someone's logo.
"Your day is better when I'm around!" whispers to the smartphone. "Your spirit uplifted when you talk to me." — he insists. "Don't miss anything very important and new!" — he weighs on my conscience and appeals to habits.

He needs more of my attention because he is lonely. More of my time, because he has something to offer me. He knows me much better and deeper than other friends and colleagues.
But sometimes I feel he shuts me something important.
I inadvertently snags an interesting phrase, leaping children's laughter on the Playground behind the office window, scraps of beautiful scenery or unusual people somewhere on the periphery of our vision. And recently, when the battery is hopelessly village, I had to consider the starry sky in anticipation of transport.
