How To Get 40 REP Fast on Steemit
Hello world, with the byteball airdrop and a number of other contest I've noticed a rise in comments asking for help getting rep scores up. I wanted to share the quickest and easiest ways I know. Bots! I know there's a lot of back and forth on the network about whether or not paid vote bots are good or bad for the community but regardless the reality is that they are here and it's play the game or get run over. So that being said, head on over to steembottracker.com and familiarize yourself with the website. Essentially you're just going to pick a bot that look good to you based on it's min/max roi, vote value, and total bids placed so far this round. At the end of the round the bot will divy up it's vote value among the bidders and give them that % of its vote (limited by it's min/max roi rules). It's rare to get a profit off the bots if you're only considering the bots alone, HOWEVER, consider just the byteball airdrop. 3-5 steem put into a good bot can boost your rep by 15-20 especially if you have a new account and are just starting out. This means the 3-5 steem you put it, you might recover 2-3 from the post but then add the byteball airdrop bonus you get from haveing 40+ rep instead of 25 and you are seeing a profit immediately. This kind of thinking is what you need when viewing bots not just do they produce a profit but how can you use the rep gained to produce a profit and for that there are many other airdrops and giveaways based on rep.
Another buy vote type program is smartsteem.com this site is almost like steembottracker.com but it allows you to just straight up buy a certain amount of votes instead of bidding (also allows bidding if you want). I like smartsteem because instead of just 1 big bot vote you usually get to buy either many smaller votes which is better for your rep or you will be buying a vote from a whale which is also typically better than from a single bot account.

:) The point of this post was to try and transition people away from thinking about the value of rep in a case by case basis like you just pointed out for byteball and instead view the benefits of higher rep across the board. So for the specific case of bots the payout isn't necessarily profitable but the higher rep can be profitable in other places. Having a higher rep is a good thing in most users opinions lol and having a quick easy way to move from 25 to 40 is also typically a good thing for new members. Or you know you could just focus on the few and far between cases where getting higher rep isn't worth it and i guess just wallow in that lol :P live your life bro
